I feel like ending my life...

In our daily journey called life, we have days that fill us with happiness, and days that fill us with sorrow. For many of us, there are more days filled with sorrow and loneliness, which can lead us to feel like ending our life's journey. These continuous feelings can be overwhelming and make us feel like the journey isn't worth the travel.

My Loved One is Ill!

Little Tommy got a sliver in his finger while playing with his older brother John. John hated to see his little brother in pain. He didn't like the sight of his tears either, so he rushed him into the house where his father was.

"Just put a band-aid on it, Dad. I'm sure it will be OK," said John.

But Father knew that while a band-aid might make Tommy feel better it would only hide the real problem. He knew the sliver would have to come out. And he knew that it would hurt. But in the end that would be the only way to make Tommy truly better.

What If I Can’t Take Care Of My Loved One Anymore?

One of the hardest decisions a family can make is the decision to turn the care of a loved one over to someone else. When a spouse or child or parent, due to mental or physical illness, can no longer be cared for at home and has to be put in a place where others can give the care that is needed, it can create stress for all involved.

While the Bible does not speak specifically to instances such as these, we do find in Scripture some important general guidelines to remember as we make these difficult decisions.
